Nỗ lực cản đường Trump vào Toà Bạch Ốc bằng mọi giá ngày càng gắt gao.  

Sau hai lần bị ám sát hụt, lần này ông Trùm phải huỷ buổi rally ở Wisconsin, a swing state hôm nay vì secret services kg có đủ nguời "secret service shortage" để bảo vệ ông.  Truyền thông ra rả lèo lái dư luận rằng thì là bởi tại bị vì phải dồn người bảo vệ các lãnh tụ quốc gia khác đang ở New York cho hội nghị UN General Assembly (UNGA 79).  Nhưng tuần trước Quốc Hội vừa approve tăng funding cho cơ quan mật vụ này với số tiền kg nhỏ $231 million và UNGA 79 đã bắt đầu từ ngày 10 tháng 9.  

Chỉ mới một tuần trước, ngày 20 tháng 9 giám đốc Rô của Secret Services còn hùng hổ tuyên bố ông Trùm được nhận được sự bảo vệ nghiêm ngặt nhất, "highest secret service protection" và họ cũng đâu có bảo cụ Joe hay Horrible rằng thì là "kg đủ người bảo vệ" cho buổi rally của họ cũng ở Wisconsin cùng ngày hôm đó.  Vậy mà tuần này ngay lúc ông Trùm chuẩn bị rally vận động trước ngày bầu cử thì secret service bị thiếu người.   Chuyện khôi hài nhỉ.

Agency official says ‘our personnel and equipment are being pushed to their limits to sustain the current operational tempo’

Former President Donald Trump has been forced to cancel an outside rally in Wisconsin because of shortages within the Secret Service.

The rally was planned for Saturday at an airport, but the agency said it didn’t have the staff needed to secure the area, according to CBS News. The former president is instead set to speak at a smaller indoor venue in Prairie du Chien in the southwestern part of the state on the border with Iowa.

The Secret Service said it was low on personnel because of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, where they have to provide security for foreign leaders during their time in the US.
