My support for Jim Jordan for the Speaker of the House position dates back to 2018. This man doesn't mince words when it comes to fiscal responsibility. He's out there, championing a long-term spending bill with a bold 1% cut, and you've got to respect that level of determination.
And let's not downplay his commitment to accountability. He's all in on the House GOP’s impeachment inquiry into uncle Joe and Biden's corruption. No hemming and hawing, and no beating around the bush with this man.
Now, onto that House Speaker position. Some may have thought he hesitated, but it wasn't about political maneuvering with Trump. Nah, Jordan's all about forthrightness and integrity. He's leading the House Judiciary Committee, shedding light on actions from both sides of the aisle.
In terms of House Speaker traditions, the member with the lengthiest tenure typically ascends to the position. This echoes the approach taken by Nancy Pelosi, who assumed the role of Speaker due to her status as the longest-serving dems member when the party held the House majority. And it's also why McCarthy got the gavel after 15 rounds on the floor.
Considering Steve Scalise's health battle, it's best to let the man focus on that. Jordan's ready to take charge and keep the gears turning in Congress. It's all about strong, principled leadership, and Jordan's got it in spades. If we're looking for accountability and transparency, this is our guy.
In the face of ceaseless assaults from dems and their partisan media, he stands resolute - we know he is the genuine champion for the job.
