Sneezeweed    ...Wonder it can cause people to sneeze...I was sneezing while resting there   I thought it was the mosquitoes and the gnats that flew into my nose.

Yeah, hiking with a heavy backpack for a long trip into the backcountry, and only for one night camping is pushing it for my limit 
I guess I will look at it as a training step for the Nov LA marathon 

I went to Trader Joe's to buy some snacks for the trip and found this pastel yellow color orchid.  Sorry, too lazy to set up a better background

It is said that this plant doesn't cause allergies.
 
It looks more like Bigelow's Sneezeweed to me now because of its long stem.  

Carrying a twenty-something pounds backpack while hiking up the mountain for a long time is not an easy task at all. The first time I did it I almost died. However, after that experience I have learned to appreciate simple things around me.

I love the combination of pink and pastel yellow in an orchid.
